Graduate Financial Software Developer

Established in 2002 our client's products develop, implement and support a comprehensive suite of market data products including real-time market data feeds, a commercial publishing suite and a traditional quote terminals.

The company's fast-growing operations are currently staffed by over 100 people across four offices in the US and UK. They are becoming a well known player in their market place.

Our client is expanding their product suite globally and as a result is looking to recruit a couple of competent Software Developers to work in their research and development centre in Cambridge. There is some flexibility on start date and the client is happy to consider candidates who are in their final year at the moment.

Your main duty will be to develop financial information software which will be utlised worldwide by market makers, hedge funds and brokers. You will also have the opportunity to develop the next generation of software that provides real-time stocks, futures and options information to the financial community.

Our client is looking for candidates who have already graduated or are graduating this year from a top university. You should have excellent OO programming ability, and while experience in C++ isn't necessary, you should be prepared to learn as you will be using this on a daily basis.

Our client is looking for candidates who have a 2.2 or above in an IT related discipline and who want to develop a rewarding software engineering career. You should be a passionate programmer, evidenced through details on your CV.
