A dozen leading graduate recruiters fall of the rankings

THE Times Top 100 Graduate Employers is a celebration of Britain's most successful and well-respected graduate recruiters, but publication of the new league table brought bad news for a number of high-profile organisations. A third of employers are ranked lower than in 2004 and 12 have dropped out of the list altogether in this year's survey of more than 16,000 graduates.

Two of these employers, Nestl? and Vodafone, were well-established graduate recruiters but recently opted to drop their formal graduate training schemes in favour of direct-entry programmes.
