Apprentice Account Managers - ?18-20k - West Midlands

Based near Horsham in West Sussex, our client is a well established IT Integrator and HP Business Partner focused on various industry sectors. They design and deploy IT solutions based on HP enterprise servers, workstations, storage and software.

This role is based in my client's Birmingham offices. Working for an exciting and dynamic IT solutions provider, our client is highly thought of by HP and is one of a small number of Select Business Partners. They have experienced year on year growth and expansion. The company has a philosophy of work hard play hard - their sales people are well looked after, highly incentivised and enjoy their work life.

The client requires an Apprentice Account Manager, a role which will lead to full time account management within a year.

Its a good opportunity to join the company at the ground level leading into sales.

You will be:

- Prospecting in customer database: a mixture of warm calls to known companies and follow-ups to existing accounts in the areas noted above.
- Liaising with admin to chase orders
- Providing internal sales support to Enterprise Team experienced account managers in large-scale projects
- Liaising with the technical team on issues relating to orders
- Ensuring customers are happy with equipment delivery

This role is ideal starting point for development into a full sales role, plus you will be given the opportunity to learn more about the IT industry and its products and technologies. This role will provide you with a valuable learning experience whilst involving a level of sales and administration-paperwork.

- Some telesales experience preferred
- Some IT experience
- Must be self-motivated to pick up the phone and hunt through the accounts
- Must be motivated by the potential of uncapped earnings

You will be of graduate calibre and need to be enthusiastic, well spoken, presentable, and have had some experience of telemarketing or IT.
