My client is one of the fastest growing specialist procurement consultancies in Europe. Founded in 2000 by a team of experienced sourcing consultants, the company has quickly established themselves as one of the major players in the industry.
Many of their clients are leading blue chip organisations that employ the consultancy to help them achieve more from their procurement functions. With offices in UK, Germany and a growing operation across Europe, they have a truly international presence with clients across the globe.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading international consultancy as a Business Analyst. The objective of this role is to support the project teams in thoroughly analysing a client's current procurement in order to isolate areas for cost savings and increase efficiency. You will be working with consultants on a variety of projects and meeting with clients from day one, getting involved with the assessment of potential opportunities, working on long term projects and analysing information to help implement strategic sourcing projects.
Responsibilities include:
-Spending large amounts of time on client sites and with client suppliers.
-Involvement in the company corporate strategy
-Analysing large amounts of data in MS Excel isolating key procurement issues on specific client projects.
-Drawing conclusions from findings and communicating ideas and findings through written, graphical or verbal presentation to Consultants and Senior Business Analysts.
-Assisting with other areas of the business as and when required.
This is a very busy and demanding role that requires someone who really wants to take their first step within consultancy. You will be supported by a well structured training and mentoring programme and have a 'joining buddy' to help you with any day to day queries. With the company growing so rapidly there is ample opportunity to excel, and depending on your past experience could look to be promoted to a Senior Business Analyst within one to two years and a Consultant within three to four years.
This will not be a standard nine to five role and you will be required to work away from home, often internationally four out of five days a week. However you will be rewarded with an excellent salary, two yearly bonuses, laptop, mobile phone, share options, private medical insurance and 25 days holiday.
