Equality Act shines spotlight on added value recruitment

The REC has responded to changes to the Equality Act introduced by the coalition Government.The Act encourages employers to take on more women, minority groups and people with disabilities which are all currently under-represented in many workforces. The Government said it was to boost voluntary positive action when an employer is faced with two or more candidates of equal merit.
