Get kitted out for University with Tesco

UniversityStudent JobsTips and AdviceFreshers

The new University term is upon us! And that can only mean one thing - getting some lovely new stuff for your room. We've done the research, so come and feast your eyes on these bargain choices...

As Freshers' week draws even closer, we're helping students get kitted out with some great bargains. We at GRB have raided Tesco's new collection to find some of the best items for your new room, because let's face it, you'll be spending a lot of time in there nursing a hangover with Netflix. So let's have a look at some of our favourite back to Uni items from their site?

1. Look at their slick bedding!

For the girls, we've found this single duvet set for just £10! It may resemble something your Nan patched together in the 70s, but with a floral twist and a delightful mix of pastel and bright colours, this set will brighten up any student digs. Single: £10Double: £15 OR check out our personal favourite - and a must-have for any geography student - this maptastic duvet cover. It's got that sepia-toned vintage feel that doesn't make it too garish (or make your bed look like the 'A to Z' that your folks love so much). Plus, anyone who comes over to your new jazzy room will see you as travelled and intriguing. Single: £11Double: £15

2. Oooh cushions too?

Nothing says comfy and welcoming more than a nice cushion. Squishy, on trend and inspirational, this 'dance in the rain' cushion will add a little spice to your room, and because it's a neutral colour, its subtlety will be a blessing to your new student pad. Buy here for just £10

3. What is this 'laundry' thing that you speak of?

As a student who's counting pennies, laundry will probably be a bi-annual event. So what a better way to store your dirty clothes than in a simple bag with a bold reminder? Plus you can save space by hanging this from your door rather than sacrificing a dark corner of your room (where your clothes will no doubt be forgotten until move out day). It's only £6!

4. We l<3ve #stationery

Don't be ashamed, we know that the best thing about starting a new year was getting a 'sick' new pencil case alongside smelly gel pens and an ironic ruler. It may not be primary school anymore, but you can still get excited about new stationary - especially this pencil case for just £3! AND you can choose between polka dots and a vintage rose design. What? Only £3? For more awesome products, check out Tesco Living's Twitter account.
