Graduate Health Outcomes Analyst - ?25-25k - Bedfordshire

My client is a commercial organisation whose core businesses are the undertaking of health economic analyses and the production of reimbursement dossiers for some of the largest healthcare companies in the world. Both these activities are highly analytical in their nature.

Role: This is to start ASAP or latest July.

On a day to day basis you will:

- Design and develop health economic models that can be used by clients and pharmaceutical agencies to calculate the cost effectiveness of different therapeutic methods
- Develop bespoke models for clients
- Provide additional modelling support across all projects
- Systematically identify and compile the following clinical, epidemiological, quality of life and economics evidence through literature reviews
- Write reports outlining methods and findings of project work
- Attend client meetings and conferences and present findings when necessary.

The essential skills for the role are as follows:

- Minimum 2.1 in Maths, Applied Maths, MORSE, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, Operational Science, Actuarial Science, Economics or Health Economics
- A postgraduate degree would be ideal
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Stata, R, WinBugs, and MS Access would be highly beneficial
- Other relevant packages are SAS and SPSS - these will make it easy to cross train in R and STATA
- SQL could be an advantage
- Any relevant experience would be beneficial or an interest in medical research or the healthcare industry
- Excellent team working skills.
