If you are watching pay TV anywhere in the world the likelihood is that a substantial part of the software infrastructure that supports it is provided by this company.

A unique opportunity to work within IT security to become a specialist in the world of security evaluation. This is a very niche role and will suit someone with an interest in security, who would basically like to rip apart any hardware or software device in a lab and demonstrate its strengths and weaknesses. There is an emphasis on network technology at the moment with a large contract going through but the technology can be extremely varied.

The role has a strong emphasis on client contact and would suit someone is comfortable speaking in front of a room full of people. Many of your clients will be based overseas so you must be willing to undertake occasional short international visits.

A lot their work is MOD or GOV based so you will need to get security clearance, hence we can only accept applications from UK nationals with no offences to their name.

Essential skills for the role include:

- Recent 1st Degree or Masters - preferably in Computer Science or related discipline (Communications or Security biased).
- Some security testing evaluation degree content would be an advantage, although training will be given.
- Familiarity with technical security concepts would be preferable.
- Familiarity with common operating systems and Networking principles (Windows, Unix, TCPIP, etc).
- Good communication skills, both written and oral, as our work is often directly client facing.
- Ability to use standard Office packages (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is expected.
