Graduate Jobs Are Going, Going, Gone!

Graduate JobsRecruitment

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past month or so I'm sure you're aware (I really hope you haven't been living under a rock) that many deadlines for excellent graduate schemes starting in 2012 have already gone by and many more are just around the corner.

For those that haven't been keeping up to date, due to the oppressive weight of aforementioned rock, here's a brief summary of some of the opportunities that you've missed out on recently: - Graduate Software Engineer Opportunity with the Pheonix Partnership - 26 November - Sainsbury 2020 Leaders Programmes - 27 November - Graduate Programmes with ICAP - 27 November - Blackrock Graduate Programme - 28 November - Credit Suisse Analyst Programme - 30 November - BNP Paribas Graduate Banking Programme - 30th November - Enterprise Rent-A-Car Graduate Programme - 30 November - Danone Sales & Marketing Graduate Scheme - 30 November - Gazprom Marketing & Trading Graduate Programmes - 30 November - Astra Zeneca Finance Graduate Programmes - 30 November - Sky's Software Engineering Academy - 30 November And here's a list of a couple of Graduate Programmes to look out for with deadlines fast approaching: - Microsoft Sales Mach Graduate Scheme - 2 December - AgustaWestland Engineering Graduate Development Programmes - 2 December - Santander UK Graduate Scheme - 11 December - Nestle Graduate Schemes - 12 December - Network Rail Engineering Graduate Programmes - 19 December - Boots Graduate Programmes - 21 December - BNP Paribas Real Estate - 23 December - Jaguar Land Rover Marketing, Sales and Service Scheme 30 December - Barclays Bank Future Leaders Programme - 30 December - RBS Insurance Chief Operating Office Graduate Programme - 31 December - Tesco Store Management Programme - 31 December However it's important to emphasise to avoid waiting until the last moment to apply. With rising competition for graduate schemes, it's often a first come, first served basis so you really don't want your application to be the one at the bottom of the pile. If you're really interested in a graduate scheme, take the time to make some time and use that time to apply well in advance to increase your chances of your application progressing to the next round. Make sure to make full use of the Graduate Recruitment Bureau website as they're there to help you and they fill shortfalls in schemes that won't be advertised elsewhere.
