The conference in London on 14th July features speakers from Tesco, SKY, Barclays, Deloitte, AXA and Cancer Research. A graduate entrepreneur from the University of Brighton, Dan established his recruitment business with fellow graduate Chris Cater in 1997 with a £4,000 loan and has since transformed over 1,500 businesses recruiting from his talent pool of Russell Group students and graduates.
The all-day event will be attended by senior graduate recruiters from FTSE250 firms looking for fresh insights into the complex world of attracting and retaining early talent. Student marketing expert, Dan Hawes said: "It's an honour to be able to chair such a prestigious event and a great platform to share my 20 years knowledge of graduate recruitment. I have seen many changes in that time but also some things that have remained constant. It continues to fascinate me to this day. I talk to graduate recruiters all the time and many find the marketplace more fragmented than ever before. I am especially looking forward to the Student Panel Discussion as I personally recruited the five students taking part and hope this offers a rare opportunity for graduate recruiters to field questions in an open forum. It's more important than ever to understand how 18-22 year olds think and behave. We were all there once but the environment has changed dramatically - especially since the EU referendum."
