Former Queen's University graduates and worldwide singing sensation The Priests are to be given the Graduate of the Year award by the Belfast institution in a celebration of graduate success this week.
The honour is slightly belated as Father Eugene O'Hagan graduated in 1982, with his brother Martin and fellow Priest Father David Delargy following suit three years later.
The trio will be heralded during a week of celebrations in which some 4,000 students will don their robes to complete their university journey.
The unlikely pop stars have spent 13 weeks at number one in the album charts after shifting over two million albums worldwide, as well as singing for the Queen and Irish President Mary McAleese.
Other former graduates to be recognised at the ceremony include BBC Pakistan correspondent Orla Guerin, Nobel prize-winning chemist Professor Gerhard Ertl and Paralympic world champion sprinter Jason Smyth.
