Private Equity Team Assistant - ?18k - Tunbridge Wells

Private Equity firm with offices in Tunbridge Wells and Central London is looking for a junior analyst to assist the Managing Partner, Investment team and Finance Director with financial analysis and administrative duties. The role will be based in Tunbridge Wells with some travel to the London office. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of managing a small business and gain an insight into Private Equity including deal origination and portfolio management

Key accountabilities:
- General office management and administration
- Arrange meetings (including taking minutes, typing notes as required)
- Production of marketing and sales materials as required and assistance with PR
- Assist with presentations using PowerPointExcelWord
- Administration of KYC and AML
- Diary management
- Assist with book keeping for the Group
- Assist with research and analysis of market activity, deal activity, deal origination opportunities, portfolio management
- Assist Finance Director with Investor relations and reporting

Key requirements:
- Ability to use MS applications including advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook essential
- Proactive, resourceful and gets things done
- Excellent planning and organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and clear communicator
- Capable of multi tasking and prioritising under pressure
- Experience of report writing and presentations
- Comfortable with manipulating and interpreting data and figures
- Knowledge of basic accounting, bookkeeping and prior use of SAGE an advantage
- Highly literate and numerate
- Commercially aware
- Can demonstrate an understanding of and enthusiasm to start a career in private equity
- Must have a UK work permit
- Minimum grade of B in Maths and English at GCSE
