Our client is a major UK manufacturer of urethane adhesives, coatings, binders, foam systems, insulation and structural foams. In 2001 they moved into a new custom built factory to enable them to continue to grow their specialist polyurethane manufacturing business.
My client is seeking a candidate with a good knowledge of polymers through work experience or lab based experience to become a Regional Sales Manager.
In this role you will be responsible for dealing with new business enquiries, generating sales leads and visiting clients on location and advising them on specific and suitable products to meet their requirements.
Your patch will cover the south of England so a lot of time will be spent on the road visiting your clients; a company car will be provided.
Continuing aftercare will also be a major part of the role enabling your clients to have a port of call if they have any issues with products.
Essential skills include:
- 2:1 in Chemistry or Materials Science.
- The ability to sell technically advanced products.
- Outstanding communication skills enabling sales through demonstrations.
- Technical experience with polymers.
- Drivers licence.
