Risk consultancy - provide advice and services. You will provide specialist desktop research and analysis of public record information in the UK and abroad in support of business due diligence and other investigative projects. You will need to evaluate information and summarise results of research for internal or external clients. You will act as junior member in the team on investigative cases, to provide investigative and administrative support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to consultants on the availability and cost of information, and advise on research approach
- Conduct comprehensive database research using complex search criteria
- Analyse research results within the context of the project and suggest additional avenues of research
- Summarise research findings into draft reports for consultants on larger projects
- Draft reports for external clients on research-only projects
- Provide feedback to internal and external clients on research findings
- Manage deadlines and budgets for research phases of large projects or research-only projects
- Support consultants in more complex or multi-jurisdictional tasks
- Undertake case-related administrative tasks including liaison with subcontractors, invoice approval and accrual of costs, input of client information in marketing database and support to the Case Manager in proposal and report writing.
- Carry out background research to support product development initiatives
- Prepare highly focused briefings for client meetings.
Essential skills for this role are as follows:
- Minimum 2.1 in any degree
- Fluent in French and Turkish
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Ability to understand and summarise large amounts of information in a concise manner and communicate these to colleagues and clients
- Basic understanding of company accounts
- Well-organised and the ability to manage deadlines, prioritise workload and work under pressure
- Enquiring mind, lateral thinking
- Ability to work in a team
- Interest in business matters and risk exposure
- Experience in use of corporate, media and other specialist databases is ideal, but not essential.
