Students 'quids in' at St Andrews

ST ANDREWS has been named the most cost-effective location in Scotland to be a student. Relatively low living costs and high wages for part-time jobs mean students choosing St Andrews can expect to have more disposable income.

According to the Royal Bank of Scotland's (RBS) Student Living Index, which is published today, students at St Andrews spend an average £177 per week on living and housing costs, but earn £69 per week from part-time work. Click here to read more.
