The Role
This role provides an opportunity to join our client, a leading company, as a Lead Consultant specializing in Oracle CPQ. You will leverage your extensive experience to deliver strategic technology solutions that drive growth and profitability. You will become a trusted advisor to our client, collaborating closely with stakeholders at all levels to assess needs, recommend solutions, and lead major client engagements.
Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert in Oracle CPQ and other Oracle CX Applications.
- Perform hands-on technical design, solution architecture, prototyping, and development tasks.
- Ensure solutions are scalable and meet the client's business requirements.
- Lead project teams and manage task assignments, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Collaborate with the client to understand their challenges and develop expert recommendations.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions that meet the client's specific needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities in systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends in Oracle CPQ and related areas.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other team members, fostering knowledge sharing.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc. (MBA or relevant Master's preferred)
- 8-10 years of consulting or industry experience
- 6+ years of experience leading Oracle CPQ implementations, including:
- Commerce, configuration, and document modules
- Integrations with external applications (CRM, ERP)
- Integrating Oracle CPQ Cloud/CPQ with Salesforce or Dynamics
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a consulting role
- Experience in various consulting roles (e.g., network admin, system analyst, project manager)
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle CPQ Cloud functionalities (administration, configuration, pricing, commerce, Doc Engine)
- Strong project management and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle Sales Cloud CRM, Subscription Management, Field Service, and/or Service Cloud
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
- Strategic vision and ability to contribute to the client's success
- Executive presence to interact effectively with senior executives
