A fantastic opportunity for a relationship driven graduate to work for an innovative Scandinavian sustainable commodities business.
This is to work for their UK subsidiary based in Essex, near Saffron Walden, with regular trips to Sweden. We have been asked to find a great communicator who is focus on long term relationships and would thrive in a mature environment.
The role (start date Feb/March)
An interesting opportunity to work directly with the UK Managing Director, where you will provide sales and administrative support whilst undertaking a thorough training programme in external sales and account management. This tie next year you will be in charge off a number of business accounts and will be eligible for car allowance and bonus scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Internal Sales and Administration:
- Process and input orders, manage rescheduling of shipments, and provide logistical support.
- Respond to sales enquiries, proactively drive sales, and manage clearance of stocks
- Support with due diligence documentation and reporting.
- External Sales and Business Development:
- Target new customers and grow smaller existing accounts, contributing to overall business growth.
- Actively participate in UK trade associations where appropriate, representing their timber products.
- Training and Development:
- Engage in comprehensive training on all aspects of the UK business and the timber industry, including internal administration, sales, shipping, and logistics.
- Participate in an induction program in Sweden, including visits to sawmills and other relevant business areas.
- Receive ongoing IT support and training, as well as any other necessary professional development.
