Graduate Commercial Litigation Paralegal

This small commercial law firm manages high volume commercial litigation claims within various legal disciplines.

As a commercial litigation paralegal/legal assistant within this fast-moving commercial law firm, you will be responsible for supporting solicitors and fee-earners with a high volume of case work. You will be the point of contact for clients from the outset, assisting with their onboarding, preparing cases and assisting with the litigation process.

The firm specialises in high volume claims for housing disrepair, undisclosed commission, financial mis-selling and business energy. 

You Will: 

• Receive ongoing training and support from solicitors.
• Learn about various legal methods and systems, such as how to manage high volumes of cases and how the court process works. 
• Work in a close-knit team that enjoys their work and will provide a welcoming atmosphere for a graduate.
• Have the opportunity to progress your legal career with the firm. You could gain the CILEX qualification or the firm could support you through a training contract, depending on your skills and ambitions.
• Shadow solicitors and provide them with support throughout the litigation process.
• Have the opportunity to attend court hearings, once you are trained to a sufficient level.

You Have:

• 2.1 equivalent or above in Law. Non-law graduates will be considered, but you need a demonstrable interest in entering the legal sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work effectively under pressure, managing a high caseload.
