Graduate Electronics Engineer

Based on the outskirts of Cambridge, this tech firm works with their client's briefs to produce high-tech and highly innovative solutions that span software, electronics and hardware solutions. As a consultancy, they work with a wide variety of customers that include well-known firms in healthcare, life sciences, industrial and consumer sectors.

The Role

This role will be ideal for someone who is keen to develop their hardware skills while also being able to lean more on the firmware and system design side of things. 

This role is working for a consulting firm so you will have the chance to work on lots of different technical and product development projects.

Duties will be varied and include: 

• Development of electronic systems 
• Design of electronic circuits 
• Analysis and modelling of circuit and system performance 
• Definition of test schedules and testing of electronic circuits and systems 

Skills

• You need to have or be graduating with a 2.1 or over in a relevant subject such as electronic engineering 
• You should have experience of analysing, designing, constructing and testing electronic circuits ( testing should include the basic use of electronics test equipment)
• You should also have experience of developing software for electronics systems ( C, C++, Python)
• You should have university-level exposure to designing, building and testing electronics circuits 
• As the role is working for a consulting firm, you should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
