Graduate Events Engagement Assistant

As a leading provider of intelligence, insights and information focused on the defence sector, our client delivers a sector-leading portfolio of international events. Due to business growth, they are looking to bring in an ambitious graduate to join their sales team as a delegate sales executive in Chelmsford.

Graduate Events Engagement Assistant - £24k + Bonus - Essex - ASAP 

This is a great opportunity for you to kickstart a career in the Events space. In this role, you will get the chance to: 

• Engage and manage keynote speakers from the Defence space, managing their agendas for conferences 
• Network with leaders in the Defence space at your events, from Military Personnel to Government Officials 
• Conduct research to identify trends, topics and tech advancements for these events 
• Coordinate meetings and hit deadlines to ensure smooth preparation for events 
• Support Producers to help them focus on strategic priorities 
• Progress quickly, you can move into a Producer role or across different business functions
• You get to travel to every event, getting the chance to visit great cities such as Helsinki! 

What You Need: 

• Personable communication skills 
• An interest in the Events space
• An interest in the Defence space 
• Commutable to Essex 5 days a week
