The Role
Client services is a core business unit that focuses on building the firm's client base and increasing the total value of assets they manage through a mix of research, business development and advisory services. Focusing on developing the European and Asian client base, the team works with financial intermediaries and institutions.
You will experience 4 x 6 month rotations across sales, marketing, business operations and product management. Your role in each rotation will tie in with your abilities and interest and will see you take real responsibility from an early stage. Your specific role within each rotation might include:
Sales Working with the business development teams to increase client and sector coverage across funds, emerging markets and equities, you will undertake research led duties and could build sales presentations for specific client groups.
Marketing Looking at ways to engage with potential clients, assessing how campaigns should look and who to target. You can also expect to assess campaign performance through analytics and calculate potential ROI.
Operations You will be exposed to projects relating to work flow management and business strategy. You can expect to develop skills relating to project management, assessing the suitability of new tech solutions and tools. You can also expect to work closely with the publishing and analytics teams.
Product You will work closely with investment specialists to gain an understanding of the market and investments, looking to identify opportunities and potentially work in partnership with other funds.
Please note this is not a route into portfolio management sales or trading. On completion of your rotations you will transition into an associate level role in one of the teams you have worked in. Internal mobility will be available allowing you to build a long lasting and varied career.
Training and Development You will be encouraged and supported to work toward professional qualifications such as the IMC and others specific to your rotation and career goals. In addition the company offer a wealth of in-house learning resources and you will be mentored by senior manages from across the business with regular 1-1 catch ups.
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for applications from a broad range of candidates. Prior exposure to and knowledge of investment management is not essential. An interest in developing a full understanding of investment management is! Interviews will take place in London at the end of Feb - beginning of March.
You should:
