The Role
A fantastic rotational scheme that will give you incredible exposure to all aspects of investment operations.
Initially starting in global investment control and operations you could focus on order management and trade support, compliance or portfolio construction. You will play an inclusive role in the team and will have real responsibility from day one.
Future rotations will be decided as the early career programme progresses. You could be assessing and improving risk controls, understanding business processes to improve work flows or producing market insight and reports for clients. The roles will be varied, and offer unique challenges and learning opportunities. At the end of the scheme you will transition into a permanent role in a team that best matches your skills and career motivations. This is not a route into sales and trading but offers you a starting point to build a career across investment operations but will expose you to:

The company will support you with professional development, it is likely you will study toward the IMC but the scheme will also offer the chance to complete other professional qualifications relevant to your rotations. In addition the company offer a wealth of in house training covering both hard and soft skills and you will also have regular catch ups and mentoring sessions with the senior managers.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for applications from a broad range of candidates. Prior exposure to and knowledge of investment management is not essential. An interest in developing a full understanding of investment management is! In addition you should:
- Be enthusiastic about learning all aspects of investment operations
- Want to work in a collaborative environment, share your ideas and be able to soak up others experience
- Be comfortable building relationships with people across the business, including senior executives
