The Role
To be successful in your application you will have a good working knowledge of machine learning techniques and other algorithms used for the investigation of diverse data sets, coupled with strong software engineering skills to build robust systems around these analytics.
You will be responsible for research and then selecting relevant technologies, approaches and implementations to solve a given business problem. This will involve some form of machine learning as well as other forms of data analytics techniques. You would then communicate the design of your system and how it works to customers, analysts and fellow engineers.
Requirements
Working knowledge of machine learning techniques and other algorithms gained, for example, by pursuit of an advanced degree (MSc or PhD).
Strong software engineering skills, proven through a period of industrial experience, in at least one programming language (preferably Python).
Degree level or greater in a STEM subject (e.g. maths, physics, computer science, engineering) plus
excellent verbal and written communications skills.
