Graduate Trainee Accountant & Business Advisor - September 2025 Start
As a Graduate Trainee Accountant & Business Advisor, you will be fully immersed in the world of accountancy, receiving broad exposure across three key areas:
- Accounts (1/3 of the role): Client onboarding, company secretarial tasks, VAT returns, draft corporation and personal tax returns, HMRC investigations, and more.
- Tax (1/3 of the role): Preparing tax returns, managing electronic tax systems, drafting client letters, and handling a variety of tax-related responsibilities.
- Audit (1/3 of the role): Visiting clients, conducting stock takes, and assisting with company audits.
This is a full-time, office-based role (9:00 am – 5:30 pm), offering early exposure to clients and real-world accountancy challenges.
Training & Development
- Full study support towards the ACA or ACCA qualification (option to pursue CTA later)
- Training days at the firm’s HQ
- Commence qualification after completing a 3-month probation period.

Who We’re Looking For
- Degree: Open to any subject (Accounting, Finance, Law, Sciences, or Agricultural disciplines are great fits!).
- Academic background: A’s and B’s at A-Level, predicted 2:1 degree, and strong GCSEs (or equivalent)
- Work experience: Some form of previous employment (hospitality, retail, etc.).
- Bright and driven, with strong organisational skills.
- Confident, personable, and able to take initiative.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities.
- A background in sports or extracurriculars is a plus.
- A passion for rural business, agriculture, or the countryside is highly desirable.
- Additional requirements: A driving license is essential
