Who we're looking for...
We are looking for 2 bright pro-active graduates to join our Finance graduate scheme.
Finance influences almost every area of the organisation, from producing financial data and managing performance, to safeguarding the company’s power stations. Our Finance graduates are given real roles in highly business focused finance teams. This provides you with real opportunities for partnering and influencing decisions across the RWE npower business.
Your placements will cover an extremely broad scope over three years (and may include the potential to work in other areas of the RWE Group).
Structure of the Placement...
In one placement you could be working as an integrated member of a Performance Reporting & Analysis team for either of the Domestic, I&C, SME or Energy Services customer segments, whereas in another you may be analyzing the net margin impact of a new customer product offering or managing the finances of a multi-million pound capital investment!
In addition it is our intention that you will spend up to six months in a customer facing role in order to get closer to the customer – this is especially important as we look to support the business to become number one for customer experience across all segments in 2015
Once you’ve completed your placements you will have built some great relationships across our company. Sponsoring you to study towards a professional accountancy qualification will further equip you with the knowledge and expertise to become a well rounded finance professional and you will have experienced financial, commercial and economic situations which will give you a firm grounding to begin your career with RWE npower. Long term, we would expect you to make a big impact on the business.
Duration: The scheme consists of four placements over 3 years. 2 placements are 1 year in duration and 2 placements are 6 months in duration.
Benefits...
Salary: Starting salary of £26,000 with an excellent reward package. You will also be given a £2,500 joining bonus.
