What Will You Be Doing?

During our 20-month graduate commercial scheme, starting September 2024, you will get the opportunity to work on industry leading projects and will gain an in-depth understanding of our entire Commercial function.

You will start with an in-depth induction alongside all our graduates, giving you a broad overview of the Post Office structure and functions. You will then undergo three 6-month placements, providing you with practical experience in product management and our customer experience function.

• Product Management: Through building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders, you will understand how to improve customer experience as well as ensure product propositions remain in line with customer, market and commercial requirements.
• Customer Experience – Digital Product Management: Within this rotation, you will be responsible for operating a concrete digital product strategy, as well as presenting visions, progress and learnings to key stakeholders.
• Customer Experience – Marketing: In collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, you will develop a greater understanding of strategic marketing and gain core practical skills to develop and deliver marketing activity.
• Customer Experience – Channel Engagement: Whilst co-ordinating activities and collaborating with other areas of the business, you will develop commercial and marketing insight to monitor the effectiveness of our customer and postmaster propositions.

With this structured commercial career path, at the end of your scheme, you will be able to specialise in an area within the commercial function, where you will continue to be supported and develop. Many managers within product management and customer experience started their journey on this scheme so it’s an excellent platform to launch your career.
