What Will I Be Doing On The Scheme?

The commercial stream spans a variety of disciplines that support the commercial operations of Renishaw within our product divisions and sales subsidiaries. This could involve:

• Product Marketing: Assisting the marketing and product management teams to develop the specification and business plans for future products and products currently in development. Becoming the voice of the customer and confidently distilling feedback from external parties to insight for the development team.

• Content Marketing: using the latest techniques in communication, imagery and videography to ensure our products are appropriately positioned and promoted through external channels. Understanding user experience and interfaces to best design compelling software flows and logical user guides.

• Business Development: supporting many critical elements from market and financial analysis, operations, and web channel developments. Producing dashboards and taking action on analysis to help build sales.

This scheme provides clear progression opportunities based on skills development and performance. Upon successfully finishing the scheme, commercial graduates have taken on permanent roles in business development, product marketing, marketing communications and sales development.

Where Will I Be Working?

This role is based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area. The site is around 25-30 minutes drive from Bristol so easily commutable by car.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

Graduates applying for this position should have studied in disciplines such as business management, marketing, operations management, manufacturing, engineering or any other near similar courses. You will ideally be able to demonstrate an interest in technology or engineering however all applicants will be considered.
