What type of things will I be working on?
This 2.5 year rotational graduate programme, starting September 2025, consists of five 6-month rotations where placements, projects, and activities are aligned to your development ambitions - always involving work on real value-adding activities and projects delivering tangible business benefits.
The Electronics Manufacturing scheme encompasses the latest high-precision, automated electronics assembly and interconnection processes and challenging automated electronic test system design and development. You'll have the opportunity to:
- Engage with cutting-edge high-precision automated electronics assembly and interconnection processes
- Contribute to the design and development of automated electronic test systems
- Gain experience in process improvement, new product introduction, and production management
Renishaw’s electronics manufacturing and associated engineering takes place in a challenging, high variety, rapidly changing environment.
What career opportunities are available?
The scheme will prepare you for a meaningful role within our manufacturing organisation upon completion, by which time you will be possess both strong technical and core enabling skills. Based on specific performance areas, personal preferences, and business requirements, there will be opportunities within Electronics Process Engineering, Project Engineering and Test Development Engineering.

Where will I be working?
This role is based out of one of our main sites near Woodchester in Gloucestershire. Since our Renishaw sites are located in semi-rural areas, applicants should ensure they have reliable means of transport to reach the site, as public transportation options may be limited. Alternatively, applicants should be willing to relocate to the local area.
We also run this scheme in our site in Miskin, South Wales. There may be opportunities for short term rotations between Gloucestershire and South Wales, though you will choose which site you would like to be based out of.
What do I need?
We’re looking for passionate engineers expecting a 2:1 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant Engineering or STEM discipline.
Training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in engineering will be strongly considered. If you are excited about the role but feel as though you don’t meet all the requirements, we would encourage you still to apply.
