What Will I Be Doing On The Scheme?
Project management graduates are exposed to a wide range of Renishaw business areas and processes. During your first year at Renishaw, you will of develop knowledge of project management tools and techniques. You will experience applying these in a dynamic engineering environment and gain a real sense of achievement of delivering benefits to the business
What Type of Things Will I Be Working On?
• Managing a technical project through a product development process or design change process.
• Leading and organising meetings with relevant parties across the business to achieve project objectives.
• Creating and communicating project management plans and other key project documentation.
• Time and cost forecasting and reporting.
• Project risk assessment and mitigation.
• Proactive management of change in project scope and contingency planning.
• Undertaking continual improvement activities.
By the end of the 1 year scheme, you will have gained job knowledge and experience to be effective in project management at Renishaw and continue developing within a product division leading larger and more complex projects. Longer term career opportunities include programme management, operational management and product management.
Where Will I Be Working?
This role is based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area. The site is around 25-30 minutes drive from Bristol so easily commutable by car.
What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?
We are looking for recent graduates, preferably in an engineering or scientific discipline with a 2:2 or above (or equivalent), although the individual's personal characteristics and mindset is more important to being successful in the role.
