Our UK Graduate Programme
Joining our team, you’ll be welcomed into a culture of continuous innovation in a cutting-edge manufacturing environment. You will undertake a two-year Graduate programme consisting of a number of placements helping you to fully experience and understand Safran, and the work we do.

What will I be doing on this graduate programme?
You’ll be joining Safran’s site in Gloucester made up of a diverse range of teams including materials and processing, design, analysis, performance, test department, mechatronics, quality and manufacturing. You will be aligned to a specific business area within Safran, this could be Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Customer Services, Aerospace Engineering, Production Program Management, Systems Engineering, Test, Assembly Methods and D&A Engineering. During your two-year graduate scheme, you could be involved in teams such as:
- Development Team, where you’ll support work on projects spanning from concept design, demonstration, development, test, qualification, and production, through to customer in-service support.
- Design & Analysis plus systems team, where you’ll work on technical design for landing systems.
- Production Engineering Teams, assisting the operations department with identifying and implementing efficiency and process savings.
- Customer Support managing changes upgrades and issues with Airlines plus maintenance and repair organisations.
- Maintenance Repair and Overhaul – dealing with landing gears returned for regular or unscheduled maintenance to define repairs to deliver overhauled landing gear ready for the next 10 years operation in service.

What skills do I need?
- A 2.1 or above (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- Based in the South-West, or willing to re-locate to the local area.
