The role of the buyer is key to the success of every home and community that Taylor Wimpey build. A buyer at Taylor Wimpey is responsible for buying many of the components that enable us to build and deliver quality homes to our customers. The role of a buyer involves not only negotiation and management of our suppliers but also daily interaction with all our internal teams and sub-contractors.

This exciting opportunity to train to become a qualified buyer via Taylor Wimpey's management trainee programme is perfect for someone who has already gained their degree in a commercially focused discipline and wants to develop their experience.

To be a successful buyer your strengths should be an attention to detail, strong numerical skills and the ability to build relationships with others as you will need to work effectively across teams.
