Centrica is the largest supplier of gas to domestic customers in the UK, and one of the largest suppliers of electricity, operating under the trading names "Scottish Gas" in Scotland and "British Gas" in the rest of the UK. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
The Graduate Centrica Scheme
The programme develops both your personal and technical skills through sessions delivered by in-house experts and carefully selected external providers. Along with these mandatory sessions, we also offer a range of voluntary development events. These aim to further your development and can include anything from helping to shape the strategy of major charities to leadership courses with the Territorial Army.

Depending on the programme you apply for, you will need to have a minimum academic qualification.
- Human Resources; Customer Operations; Marketing; Analyst; Finance; and Information Systems:
A minimum 2:2 degree classification is required, in any discipline
- Engineering:
A minimum 2:2 degree classification in a related discipline is required. For Project engineering, you must have a Chemical or Mechanical engineering degree. Your degree and institution should be accredited by the relevant engineering institution. A relevant Master's degree in a related discipline is preferable but not essential
- Subsurface:
A minimum 2:2 degree classification and a Master's degree in a related discipline are required.
