Summer Internship - Europe Corporate Finance Department 

We are offering a fantastic opportunity for students to join this global investment bank within their ECFD team. This will be a 10 week paid internship, starting June 2024, designed to give students a structured programme of learning and development with a view to being offered a position on the Mizuho 2025 Graduate Programme.

Your salary is highly competitive, in line with salaries offered by other London Investment Banks.

The European Corporate Finance Department is responsible for the client management of over 350 global names. The team provides a highly flexible level of support across the business by undertaking a breadth and depth of activity encompassing client management, business development and marketing, deal origination and reporting. 

What will I be doing?

• Proactively participating in client relationship management and origination, working closely with the portfolio Relationship Managers. Industries include Energy, Utilities, Consumer, Healthcare, Technology, Services, Financial Institutions, Transport and Industrials.
• Supporting client engagement and business management activities.
• Assisting in the maintenance and input of client activity data and using the system to prepare analysis and reports.
• Gaining a holistic understanding of the departments business and services, including our credit & rating related functions and our Strategic Solutions Group.
• Developing a network across the organisation; building relationships that enhance knowledge and understanding.
