What Will I Be Doing On This Placement?

An industrial placement at Renishaw offers you the chance to learn more about the commercial functions within a global manufacturing organisation.

Our communications placements work on a variety of tasks around the creation and distribution of corporate communication materials used to inform our employees and external stakeholders about the company and its activities. This can include: managing areas of our employee intranet (SharePoint); creating news stories for UK audiences; using a content management system (CMS) to update our company website and publish press releases; using a range of digital channels to distribute internal corporate communications and videos; maintaining a communications library; managing global and UK email newsletters and supporting wider communication projects.

A successful placement provides an excellent opportunity for you to be considered for a graduate scheme position in the future.

Where Will I Be Working?

This role is based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area. The site is around 25-30 minutes drive from Bristol so easily commutable by car.
