What type of things will I be working on?

On this 12-month industrial placement, you will work on a variety of tasks around the creation and distribution of corporate communication materials.  This could include:

• Design and content creation
• Managing areas of our employee intranet (SharePoint)
• Creating news stories for UK audiences
• Using a content management system (CMS) to update our company website and publish press releases
• Using a range of digital channels to distribute internal corporate communications and videos
• Maintaining a communications library
• Managing global and UK email newsletters
• Supporting wider communication projects.

Where will I be working?

This role is based out of one of our main sites in New Mills, near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, applicants must have their own form of transport or be willing to relocate to the local area.

What do I need and how do I apply?

We’re looking for candidates who should have studied in/be studying disciplines in a relevant subject such as, Communications, Journalism, Business Management and Marketing.

Training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in communications will be strongly considered.
