What Will I Be Doing On This Placement?

An industrial placement at Renishaw offers you the chance to learn more about the IT functions within a global manufacturing organisation.

Our IT Operations placements work on a variety of tasks which support Renishaw's global IT infrastructure. This can include working on projects to improve cyber-security, implementing changes to Cloud Services, and responding to an assortment of support requests, which will allow you to develop a breadth of experience.

A successful placement provides an excellent opportunity for you to be considered for a graduate scheme position in the future.

Where Will I Be Working?

This role is based at our New Mills site near Wotton-under-Edge in Gloucestershire and you may on occasion be required to travel to other Renishaw sites for work. As Renishaw is based in a semi-rural location, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport, or they are willing to relocate to the local area. Renishaw operates hybrid working; it is likely that this role will be required to spend three days per week on-site.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

Students applying for this position should by studying in IT related disciplines and have experience using Windows 10 or 11.
