An industrial placement within the manufacturing organisation at Renishaw offers you the opportunity to understand and interact with cutting edge technology within a precision mechanical, electronic, and optical environment. You will be being given a real role, with associated responsibilities and tasks that will deliver tangible results to this global business.

This placement is within the manufacturing services division and you will be fully integrated into the team, where you will be mentored and supported by the technical staff and our senior managers. You will be encouraged to participate in the relevant areas; either assembly engineering or manufacturing engineering (both areas having process development, process support, and project engineering functions) with activities ranging from process design, project planning, performances analytics, to hands-on support and problem solving.

You will be treated as a full-time member of the function with the same responsibilities and growth opportunities. A successful placement provides an excellent opportunity for you to be considered for a graduate scheme position in the future.  

Where Will I Be Working?

This role is based at our site in Miskin, South Wales. As Renishaw sites are based in semi-rural locations, it is essential that applicants have their own form of transport or are willing to relocate to the local area. 

What Do I Need?

We're looking for passionate engineers and STEM students expecting a 2:1 or above. The training and development is excellent so candidates with no experience but a keen interest in engineering will be strongly considered.
