I am a final year Loughborough University BSc Management student. I have undertaken placements at Dorchester Collection as a reservations intern and also as a digital marketing intern. I hope to work for the NHS and one day finish my HCPC qualification and become a registered biomedical scientist. However, I am very interested to work in any lab, preferably in haematology or pathology. My biomedical sciences degree has taught me many skills in identifying cancer and other diseases through pathology. During my work in the labs throughout my thesis I've gained insight on how to create a method of action for new experiments whilst working with Galleria mellonella. Also, I have learned how to work together as a team with other associates within the lab but also how to work independently to complete my tasks.

A final year Economics with Finance student at The University of Edinburgh with a keen interest in the finance industry. I have excellent experience within the fields of chemical biology and organic chemistry from my masters, PhD, and summer projects. The skills i've acquired include organic synthesis, recombinant protein expression and purification, protein crystalography, peptide synthesis and biophysical binding assays.

I have also developed good team working, leadership and communication skills through my demonstrating in the undergraduate chemistry teaching labs and supervision of undergraduate masters students. Problem solving has been a key part of my PhD project and I have persevered to generate some really interesting results.I really look forward to tackling new projects in my career and am always keen to learn new skills along the way.
